Thanks a lot for taking the time to respond. I have managed to transfer a contribution to RC-CN through my Bank in France Crédit Coopératif. I have tried to mobilize support from other establishments and former colleagues in aid. I have engaged with a number of people based in Chengdu (thanks to skype). I have arranged with a website focusing on corporate responsibility to publish info on the relief effort and try to raise support from foreign corporations based in Chengdu or China. I have tried to contact the Chinese (embassy here in Paris) and French (FA ministry, consulate in Chengdu), but without success. Good luck, courage to you, let me know how things go and if I can do anything. I am an independent international consultant in public relations for economic development, have worked on about 60 countries around the world, including China, but have never been to the latter. I am in touch with RC here in France.
