Guake Terminal 0.30 est de sorti

2 mois après la dernière release, Guake nous arrive dans une nouvelle version estampillée 0.30.

Au menu, des bugs corrigés, des améliorations …

After almost two months working on new features, we are pround to announce the new guake release. The 0.3.0 release brings to you the following new features:

Making prefs dialog window better, including a better title,
fixing some paddings and spaces.

Added backspace and delete compatibility options (thanks to
gnome-terminal guys =)

Cleanup of data files (images and glade files), mostly images.

Complete rewrite of tab system in the main window.

Fixing all issues (I think =) in close tab feature.

Adding tab rename feature.

Making easier to grab keybinging shortcuts from the prefs
screen by using eggcellrendererkeys lib.

Now we look for more python interpreters when filling
interpreters combo.

Pour rappel :
Guake est un terminal déroulant. Il permet d’obtenir un terminal en appuyant simplement sur la touche F12 (par défaut, configurable). C’est un clone de Yakuake (KDE) pour Gnome. Pour une installation (ou mise à jour) à partir des sources :

$ wget http://guake-terminal.org/releases/0.3/guake-0.3.tar.gz
$ cd guake-0.3
$ sudo apt-get install python-dev libgtk2.0-dev libx11-dev python-notify gconf2 gconf2-common python-vte gettext intltool
$ ./configure –sysconfdir=/etc
$ make
$ sudo make install
