Et c'est sans surprise que le Wizzard of Oz-La Magicien d'OZ est le grand gagnant dans la première catégorie, et Blanche-Neige et les 7 Nains" dans celle des films d'animation. Même si avec le recul, et les moyens dont disposent les concepteurs de dessins animés d' aujourd'hui ,force est de reconnaître qu'avec Blanche-Neige, les studios Disney ont ouvert une voie royale à tous les autres films . Détail, malgré les idées reçues, ce film de 1939, n'a jamais été tourné en noir et blanc, mais en sepia/noir et blanc et Technicolor...les téléviseurs de l'époque ne diffusaient qu'en noir et blanc, d'où la confusion.
Ensuite, Alfred Hitchcock, le maître du suspense qui classe 4 titres parmi les dix de la catégorie suspense: "Fenêtre sur Cour- Vertigo-La main au collet et Le Crime était presque parfait. Une réelle performance! Par contre, je suis surprise de voir City Light - Les Lumières de la Ville" de Charlie Chaplin en première place dans la catégorie comédie romantique...
