Tout est toujours ailleurs :
là où il commence.

No importa que algunas cosas
todavía estén aquí
y hasta acaben aquí
aquí no empieza nada.
Por eso esta palabra, este silencio,
esta mesa, el florero, tus pasos,
en rigor no estuvieron nunca aquí.
Todo está siempre en otra parte :
allí donde comienza.

Everything begins somewhere else.
It doesn’t matter that some things
still remain here
and even end here:
here nothing begins.
Therefore this word, this silence,
this table, vase, your footsteps
were strictly speaking never here.
Everything is always somewhere else:
there where it begins.
