When my friends visit Bangkok from Japan I always have a few choices of restaurants to take them to.
One of them is Baan Khanita on Sukhumvit Soi 53.
It’s one of the most luxury Thai food restaurants in Bangkok.
This classic house type restaurant makes me feel really relaxed.
Once you open the door, the staff welcome you and the environment antique furniture feels really comfortable.
If you need romantic atmosphere for your girlfriend or boyfriend, definitely I recommend it.

Starter
Pomelo salad.
It’s one of my favorite salads.
Pomelo is similar to grapefruit, but not so bitter, so it matches with the other vegetables.
All girls must love this salad.
Tom Kha Gai
It’s coconut and chicken soup, but not spicy like tom yam kung.
If you are coconut lover, you should try this.
Shrimp cake
It’s shrimp ball fritter with sweet chill sauce.
Thai omelet
It’s my most favorite Thai food.
It’s totally different from western omelet.
These 4 dishes made us so satisfied.
These are all typical Thai dishes, so you can eat them anywhere actually, but Baan Khanita is a nice place to take friends, since it’s more luxurious than eating in a mall food court or street food stand.

日本から友達が来た時、
彼女たちのハートをゲットするレストランは私の中でいつも決まっています。
ああ、このままみんなが帰国のフライトをキャンセルして、
１ヶ月間バンコクに滞在してくれれば良いのに作戦です。
タイは楽しいところよ作戦に使うレストランの１つはバーンカニタ。
間違いないです。
バンコクには4店舗ほどあるみたいですが、
うち３店舗は一軒家スタイルで内装がクラシックなところがとーっても素敵。
こちらのタイ料理はあまりくせがなく日本人の舌に合っています。
最近の綺麗なタイレストランはフュージョンしまくって何が何だかわからない料理になっていることもあるのですが、
こちらは定番のタイ料理が食べられるので日本からの友達と訪れるにはもってこいです。
この日は、ポメロサラダ、トム・カカイ、シュリンプケーキ、タイオムレツを注文。
どれも私が大好きなタイ料理です。
この料理が有名だよ～って私が好きなタイ料理しか頼まないパターンです。
ごめん、おじみき。
