While we stayed in Pattaya, suddenly we got an impulse to get a delicious and filling steak…
And we found information that Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya has a nice steak house.
I’ve never stayed at this hotel but I often visited here to check the bikini store.
This hotel has a shop which sells Brazilian bikinis, that are so sexy and gorgeous.
This hotel also has huge swimming pool and many bridges that connect the path to the restaurant.
The atomosphere is like Tokyo Disney Sea or Indiana Jones! Haha…
I recommend here for families who have kids and want to stay somewhere unique, instead of a typical resort hotel.
Anyway, let’s go back to the subject…
The restaurant’s name is Flames.
It’s located at a bit far from the main buildings.
The ground floor is a pub and second floor is the steak house.
The restaurant is outdoors, but luckily I never got mosquito bites, haha
Before we started dinner, we got red wine (promotion THB149++).
They don’t have any happy hour here, but the drink price is still very good for a five star hotel restaurant.
Our meal started with free focaccia and salad.
This round focaccia was really tasty.
It’s like a puffy pizza dough matched with spices on top.
We never expected that we could get salad too. We didn’t order this, but the restaurant delivers free salad to all guests. Very tasty with olive oil/vinegar dressing on the side.
As you see, the main steak is huge and delicious.
For me, 200 gram Australian beef tenderloin cooked medium rare.
For him, 250 gram Australian striploin cooked rare.
The quality of the beef was much higher than we expected.
Upon ordering you can choose side dish and sauce.
I got mushroom sauce and my boyfriend got black pepper sauce.
As a side, I got baked potato and he got mashed potatoes.
Our lunch was so tiny that he got a chicken breast too.
Such a glutton! Haha!
For girl gluttons, just one steak is enough.
I felt really refreshed after this filling steak.

パタヤ2日目の夜は無性にステーキが食べたくなったので、
彼とひとすら美味しいステーキハウスをリサーチし、
センタラ グランド ミラージュ ビーチ リゾート パタヤ（Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya）にあるFlameレストランへ。
ここのホテルには以前セクシーなブラジリアンビキニを求めて訪れたことがあるのですが、
とにかく大きなホテルで作りがまるでテーマパークのよう！！！！
いつ訪れてもわくわくしちゃう、いつか泊まりたいホテルの1つです。
話は戻って、肝心なステーキハウスですが、メイン棟からは少し離れた場所にあります。
私のように背伸びしてハイヒールを履いていくのは要注意。
レストランへと続く吊り橋ですっころびます。
“あんたちょっと私のこと手伝いなさいよ！”と彼の助けを借りて
やっとの思いで辿りついたレストランはオープンテラスで良い感じ♪
悲しいかな、ビーチ帰りのへとへとフォトしかありません。必死に笑顔を作ります。
プロモーション中のワイン（THB149++）とメインのステーキ、サイドディッシュにベークドポテトを注文。
さっそく運ばれたまん丸のフォカッチャがこりゃもう美味。
分厚いピザ生地にガーリック系のスパイスが効いていてワインがススムススム。
無料でサラダまでついて来ました。
前菜の注文は正直いりません。
メインのステーキがどーんと200ｇ。
私はAustralian beef tenderloin。
彼はAustralian striploin。
柔らかくてジューシーで、これぞ私たちが望んでいたステーキ！
とかなんとかブログでは感想を綴っていますが、
実際は無言！
私たち、食事中は無言で貪り食ってるので、
店員さんにオーケーなのか何度か訊ねられました。
一心不乱に食べ続ける姿勢こそ“美味しい”のサイン。
彼はチキンまでオーダーしてました。さすが、大男。
しめに濃厚なアーモンドアイスまで制覇しました。
しばらくは海藻食って過ごします。
