J’ai voulu tester les produits de la gamme Shiseido Ibuki il y a quelques mois. J’avais entendu de très bons échos sur la qualité des soins de cette marque Coréenne (Qui ne voudrait pas de la magnifique peau des Coréennes ?)

I felt like sharing my skincare routine. I’ve always been careful with the products I put on my face because I used to have acne issues. Working in the beauty industry made me even more aware of my skin’s needs. After talking with my friends I noticed that many of them weren’t very serious about taking care of their skin…This post is dedicated to them <3
I decided to test the Shiseido Ibuki products a few months ago, as I had heard so many good reviews about this Korean brand (I mean who wouldn’t want to have perfect skin like theKoreans?).

First thing I do, day and night, is wash my face with a gentle cleanser. I’m absolutely in love with Shiseido’s. The product lasts forever; about 6 months! It’s texture is so nice and lathers quickly into a rich foam to remove impurities and harmful excess sebum without stripping away skin’s essential moisture. This product is by far the best cleanser I’ve tried.

I like using make-up remover after I wash my face with water and not the other way around because you always end up with make-up residue after water. I also feel it washes off the hard effect of the water. My micellar water is from Bioderma. It’s the first and only dermatological micellar water that naturally helps rebuild the skin’s hydrolipidic film. It’s also a make-up artist’s favorite as it removes make-up like magic. This is another keeper !

After cleansing, I prepare my skin to get nourished. I apply Shiseido’s softening concentrate. It’s half way between a lotion and a serum. It supplies skin with generous moisture and enhances the benefits of the skincare that follows. It leaves my skin soft and smooth.

Then, I apply a moisturizing cream. Right now I’m finishing up my Shiseido « refining moisturizer enriched » cream that I’ve been using for over 3 months. I find it works well in correcting the appearance of the uneveness from my pores or any skin roughness or marks. My skin feels fresh and quenched ! Moisturizing creams are products I like testing out, and I’m still looking for a favorite !

At night, just before putting on my cream, I put on a serum. I’ve tried for over several months the famous awarded Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum. I just add 4 drops on each of my fingers, stick my fingers together and gently dab the product on to my forehead, cheeks and chin. This repairs my skin at night and helps the cells regenerate. I personally haven’t seen any significant visual improvement but I know it’s working deep down.

To finish the whole process, I dab on eye cream all around the contour of my eyes. Right now I’m trying out Kiehl’s facial fuel eye cream. It’s important to use a specific product for that area of the face as the skin is particularly thin and fragile. It’s also important to prevent from aging.

I hope my skincare routine will help some of you understand what type of product to use and when to use it. Again, It’s important to start taking care of your skin even before you reach 25!
Xoxo
