Exposition Thierry Augé et John Sheppard au Coin d'Art Olonzac du 31 juillet au 25 août 2015 Le Coin d'Art vous invite au vernissage de notre prochaine expo le vendredi 31 juillet à 18.00. Cette fois deux artistes vont exposer des œuvres :
· Thierry Augé, photographe, qui vit et travaille à Narbonne et dans le Minervois. Il aime partir en quête de ce qui est abandonné, négligé, usé par le vent, l'eau, le temps. Depuis 2012 il a participé à plusieurs expositions collectives régionales avec une approche résolument créative et esthétique.
· John Sheppard, potier céramiste anglais, vit à la Caunette depuis 1997. Depuis peu il travaille sur les finitions sans brillance. Les pièces sont tournées, assemblées, engobées à la terre sigillée, cuites puis emaillées et recuites et finalement légèrement fumées et polies grâce à un processus de cirage à chaud.
Nous vous accueillerons chaleureusement au vernissage et à l'expo qui sera ouverte les mardis matins 9h30-12h et les dimanches 10-12h et 15-17 du vendredi 31 juillet au mardi 25 août. Bienvenue à toutes et à tous!

We would like to invite you to the vernissage for our next expo which will be taking place on Friday 31st July at 18.00. This time we will have two artists' works on show:
· Thierry Augé, photographer, who lives and works in Narbonne and the Minervois. He likes to seek out places which are abandoned, neglected, worn down by wind, water and the passage of time. Since 2012 he has participated in many collective exhibitions in the region, always with a resolutely creative and aesthetic approach.
· John Sheppard, ceramist, has lived in La Caunette since 1997. Recently he has been working on non-brilliant finishes for his pots. His pieces are thrown, assembled, given a coat of terra sigillata, fired, glazed and re-fired and finally lightly smoked and polished by a hot wax process.
We look forward to welcoming you to the exhibition which will be open on Tuesdays (Market Day) from 9.30 - 12.00 and Sundays from 10.00-12.00 and 15.00-17.00 from Friday 31st July to Tuesday 25th August.
