American Idol finalist Michael Johns dies at 35 !

Michael John Lee, né  à Perth, Australie, se fait un nom aux States lorsqu'il termine 8è du American Idol Contest 2008 sous le nom de Michael Johns.

L'Aussie vivait déjà aux E.U depuis un petit temps, il s'y produisait en interprétant ses titres et des covers.

Il a fait partie des groupes Film ( un 6 titres) et The Rising ( un EP, un album) et a sorti un album sous son nom de naissance Michael Lee.

American Idol sera un tournant dans sa carrière, l'album ' Hold back my heart' de 2009 peaks at place 12 in the US Indie Charts.
