Alexander Lorenz, designer allemand imagine par Herman Miller un nouveau système d’agencement d’espace baptisé Kivo à destination des professionnels.
L’environnement professionnel est propice à l’innovation et imagination, organiser, séparer, délimiter, agencer, isoler, autant de questions où il faut trouver les bonnes réponses !
Composé d’éléments triangulaires d’acier poli pouvant se joindre à d’autres, la structure se recouvre ensuite de feutre coloré pour le confort, l’esthétisme et l’acoustique.
« KIVO allows the creation of individual space structures that can be reconfigured as and when required. Each KIVO module consists of mirror-polished stainless steel elements, which are bolted together with specially designed connectors to form the basic structure. Additional modules can be connected at each side of a triangle. With adjustable angles, the connectors facilitate flexible orientation. The covers made of recyclable felt can be magnetically attached to both sides of the steel frame, resulting in a radically new approach to modular spatial design.«
Paravent, cabane, espace de réunion, bureau, la forme de ces éléments offre alors un infinité de possibilité d’agencement et de structure.
Projet me rappelant celui imaginé par les étudiants de l’école Boulle lors du concours Majenius du design.
