Deux mois après avoir assuré l'avant-programme de Midlake à l'AB, Israel Nash ( Gripka) revient en tête d'affiche dans nos contrées, le Trix (Noordersingel 28-30, Borgerhout) l'accueille.
Le support est confié à Mad About Mountains!
MAM = Le dernier projet de Piet De Pessemier ( Krakow, The Brothers Deere, quand il ne tient pas la guitare chez Monza...) .
Déjà deux albums, 'Mad About Mountains', les Limburgse mountains sont aussi élevées que les Dutch mountains des Nits, et le tout récent 'Harlaz'.
De l'Americana/alt.country dans la veine des Centro-Matic, My Morning Jacket, South San Gabriel, sans oublier les précurseurs, Neil Young ou Townes Van Zandt.
De subtiles harmonies vocales, des tempi d'une lenteur majestueuse...clos les paupières, tu verras les eaux d'un lac serein couvert de brumes matinales qu'un élégant héron vient troubler en quête de nourriture.
En dehors de Piet, on a reconnu Myrthe Luyten (Astronaute) - Stijn Persoons ( déjà Brother Deere, également Astronaute) et Davy Jansen, le multi-instrumentiste de Peer ( The Bottle Comets).

Du baume au coeur pour l'artiste dont le van a été cambriolé quelques jours auparavant au Danemark.

After wrapping up an awesome run in Scandinavia, we stopped into one of our favorite stores in Gothenburg. Little did we know, while getting outfitted with new jeans by the amazingly generous #Nudie store, our van was broken into. We lost 4 passports, laptops, electronics and cash totaling over $15,000. These losses are huge for a touring band working on the road night after night so far away from home. We do have our health, the spirit of brotherhood, and the purpose and passion to move forward through life and art. There is promise in tomorrow. Come see a show and say hi to us as we continue touring across Germany, Holland, and Belgium . The energy and support of our fans have taken us on a wonderful ride that I’m thankful to be on.
