Deuxième article de la série One week, three thingscette semaine avec des promenades automnales à Central Park, une soirée beauté – mode Birchbox et un café très sympa à Chelsea.
Another round of my One week, three things serie this week with long fall walks in Central Park, a beauty – fashion event with Birchbox and the discovery of a little coffe place in Chelsea.

Depuis l’arrivée de l’automne à New York, j’essaie de profiter de la ville autant que possible. Et quel meilleur endroit pour voir l’automne dans toute sa splendeur que dans le plus grand parc de Manhattan : Central Park ? J’adore la beauté des feuilles et à quelle vitesse elles changent de couleur. La rapidité avec laquelle le paysage se transforme en quelques jours est fascinante. J’y ai passé le plus clair de mon temps le weekend dernier à me promener dans chaque coin de Central Park. Et hier matin, cela m’a même motivé à me réveiller à 8h (oui, un samedi matin !), pour profiter de la quiétude et beauté du parc sous un grand ciel bleu. Quel spectacle ! Je suis prête à le revoir chaque week-end.
I have been trying to enjoy the autumn in New York as much as I can. And what better place to do so than in the biggest park of Manhattan: Central Park! I love the colors on the trees and how fast they change. It is a totally different landscape every other day. I spent most of my time last weekend roaming around Central Park under a grey fall sky.  Yesterday was so sunny and bright that I woke up at 8 am (yes on a Saturday!) to enjoy peace and fall in the park. And what a spectacle! I should definitely do it more often.


Mardi, j’étais invitée à la soirée Birchbox dans la boutique Joie du très tendance Meatpacking District. Birchbox est un abonnement mensuel pour recevoir chaque mois des produits de beauté. Joie est une marque de mode californienne au style très parisien. La soirée était top, et c’était juste génial de profiter d’une session de maquillage avec my Champagne friend, Emilie. J’ai aussi pu découvrir la marque de maquillage Jouet Cosmetics, et je suis devenue accroc à son illumineur de teint. Juste magique. Le résultat était tellement magique que même Birchbox a reposté ma photo sur Instagram.Tuesday, I was invited to the Birchbox soiree at the Joie boutique in the trendy Meatpacking district. Birchbox is that monthly subscription beauty box you can receive every month, and Joie is a Californian clothing brand with a touch of Parisian style. The event was fantastic and it was great to have a free make-up session with my Champagne buddy, Emilie. I discovered a new beauty brand called Jouet Cosmetics and I am addicted to their highlighter for perfect, glowing skin. Just magic. It is so magic, that Birchbox regrammed my picture on Instagram.



Comme je prends rarement de pause déjeuner durant la semaine, le vendredi je profite de sortir et retrouver une de mes meilleures amies et découvrir un nouvel endroit pour déjeuner. Cette fois, nous sommes allés dans un tout petit café de Chelsea : The Commons Chelsea. Un endroit très cool avec des employés très sympas, de délicieux sandwiches et un très bon café. Honnêtement, il ne vous fait pas envie mon Croque fromage ? Si vous êtes dans les parages, allez y faire un tour.
As I rarely take lunch breaks during the week, Fridays are usually the days I like to take an “out-for-lunch” moment to catch up with one of my BFFs. This time, we decided to try a little coffee shop in Chelsea named The Commons Chelsea. It is a really cool little place with a fantastic staff, great grilled sandwiches and yummy coffee. Honestly, look at that Grilled Cheese. Doesn’t it look irresistible to you? If you are in the area, pay them a visit and I am confident you will be delighted.
