Matej Chabera, jeune designer anglais nous présente sa collection Set 01, où table, tabouret et portemanteau se jouent de sa maitrise du bois !
Barstool02, Table01 et Coatstand01 définissent sa ligne, où l’enchevêtrement et jeu de résistance permettent une conception originale.
Le designers « ébénistes« en diront bien plus que moi, mais sa conception confère à chaque pièce une large résistance tout en offrant des fonctionnalités d’accroche par les éléments qui ressortent.
Cette collection semble puiser ses inspirations dans le monde animale, insectes ? voir même éléments de course, non ?

« What kind of a designer are you?
I am a thinker and a maker. I combine theoretical knowledge in the fields of anthropology and design history together with physical making in material in 1:1. I see myself as an intuitive intellectual craftsman in control of a creative process that I can apply to almost anything. »
