Un « selfie », c’est une photo de soi prise à bout de bras ou dans un miroir, généralement avec son smartphone. The National #Selfie Portrait Gallery, vient d’ouvrir à Londres à l’occasion de la Moving Image Contemporary Art Fair. Elle propose la vision du selfie par 19 artistes internationaux. « Self-portraiture has a long artistic heritage, with devotees including Rembrandt, the compulsive self-documentarian, Courbet, who styled himself a suave Bohemian, and van Gogh, the fragile genius, bandaged at the ear. » Plus d’infos sur le site du Time.
