Tiger Sushi in Helsinki

Je ne sais pas si le froid peut inspirer, mais on dirait que tout ce qui vient des pays scandinaves est tout simplement superbe. Et ce restaurant à Espoo confirme juste la règle! Tiger Sushi a été imaginé par l'architecte d’intérieure Joanna Laajisto et est magnifique. Le minimalisme japonais et la simplicité scandinave se marient parfaitement. Tous les matériaux utilisés proviennent de ressources locales. Le bar et les murs sont faits de contreplaqués en pin et les tables sont en chêne. Les persiennes en bois permettent d'isoler le restaurant de l’environnement extérieur et filtrent la lumière. J'adore le contraste du noir dans l'espace lumineux et le papier peint bleu clair, dessiné par l'artiste espagnole Ana Montiel, apporte la touche délicate de couleur. Impressionnée! Japanese minimalism and Scandinavian simplicity work well together. All the wood work are made from locally sourced materials. The bar and the surrounding walls are whitewashed knotty pine plywood and the tables are made of solid oak. The wooden louvers isolate the restaurant from the surrounding environment filtering the light. I love the contrast of the black elements with the bright space, and the beautiful blue wallpaper designed by Spanish artist Ana Montiel brings the delicate touch of colour. Impressed!
