Chit chatting over a coffee cocktail at "Aux Merveilleux de Fred" in South Kensington

Thanks to the short article that appeared on the "Ici London" magazine (page 25! :P) on my online shop, I have had the chance to meet the "oh-so-very-friendly" blogger from Reunion Island, often referred as the "sister island" of Mauritius! 
She saw the article before I did actually and I'm awfully happy that she had sent me an email! We've decided to meet at one of the newly opened French bakery "Aux Merveilleux de Fred" at South Kensington. I have to say that we clicked instantly, constantly chatting, giggling and laughing! Her name is Sarah, author of the fab website and blog "Une Réunionnaise à Londres", where she writes about Her London, her passion in testing tea times and great food at palaces, but most and foremost, to give a, overview of London to her compatriots who are thinking of coming to see Big Ben! :D

If you're French and are missing your delicious brioches, and simply if you're a brioche or meringue lover, then this is the place for you! I am a great fan of brioche and I can say that they are one of a kind!!! Sooo soft and fluffy at the same time, it simply melts into your mouth! I got two as a take-away - the original one and the other with bits of sugar called 'cramide'. It looked quite big but once I've started on a bite, I just felt compelled to get another one... and another one... until it was all gone! Oh dear!
I had been bad ... I also had a coffee cocktail with whipped cream and speculoos! I usually don't like whipped cream but this one tasted very good actually! I think it must have been the speculoos bits on it! :)

I love the area where this French bakery is located too...  South Kensington! Ok very French, but hey... at least I can find things that I miss in Paris!
I would highly recommend to drop by!
