Si l'on voulait se permettre un trait d'humour noir, on pourrait dire qu'à force de chanter la mort et l'horreur, Slayer a fini par la découvrir dans la vraie vie, et d'une manière très proche. Quoi qu'il en soit la perte du guitariste Jeff Hanneman, à l'âge de 49 ans, est quelque chose qui nous touche particulièrement puisque nous avons grandi aux sons des riffs de Slayer depuis "Show No Mercy" jusqu'à "World Painted Blood".
