Ingredients: 200g flour - 60g almond powder - 1 tsp baking powder - 3 eggs - 200g butter - 120g icing sugar - 90g candied cherries - 60g cherry jam - 150g chopped dark chocolate – dark chocolate and candied cherries to decorateMix in a bowl the flour, ground almonds and baking powder.
Cut candied cherries in half and add them to the bowl, mix well, remove and preserve them apart.In another bowl beat the butter and sugar. Add the eggs one by one. Add the jam.
Add the flour and mix quickly.
Gently add the chopped chocolate and cherries.
Pour into a buttered and floured mold.Bake at 180°C about 50 minutes.
When the cake is cooked, let it cool, then unmold it.
Melt a little chocolate. Pour over the cake and place over half cherries.
