Blue Moon

J’avais très envie de vous faire part d’un makeup que j’aime porter en soirée. Je trouve que le bleu nuit est une couleur magnifique à porter sur les yeux et je pense que cette couleur va bien avec toutes les couleurs d’yeux. Bien évidemment elle mettra plus en valeur les yeux marrons, miels, ou encore verts mais je pense que c’est réellement un makeup qui peut être transposable et adaptable pour tout type d’yeux.

I really wanted to talk to you about a makeup that I like to wear on an evening out. I find that this blue color is beautiful to wear on eyes and I think that it suits all eye colors. Of course it will bring out brown, honey and green eyes most but I really think that this makeup is transposable and aadjustable to any eye type.

Donc, pour le teint j’ai utilisé mon fond de teint préféré en soirée, le Teint Idole Ultra de Lancôme que j’ai appliqué avec mon pinceau Real Techniques. J’adore ce fond de teint, je trouve le rendu extrêmement flatteur, il convient parfaitement aux peaux mixtes, couvre les imperfections, à une tenue excellente et surtout il matifie convenablement ma zone-T sans pour autant être pâteux. Le rendu est vraiment naturel, presque invisible à l’oeil nu. J’ai ensuite utilisé le Lasting Perfection Concealer de Collection 2000 pour couvrir quelques petites boutons et j’ai appliqué mon adoré Touch-Expert Advanced de By Terry en anti-cernes et sur l’arrête du nez. J’ai ensuite utilisé mon blush préféré, le Flush de Topshop, puis j’ai passé un coup de Mist & Fix de Make Up For Ever pour fixer cette base. Une fois absorbée, j’ai poudré le tout avec la poudre Stay Matte de Rimmel, une vraie tuerie. J’ai ensuite utilisé ma palette Face Form de Sleek pour creuser mes joues (le bronzer est d’ailleurs un super dupe pour le Laguna de Nars!) et illuminer le haut de mes pommettes à l’aide de l’highlighter.

So, for my base I used by favorite foudation for parties, the Teint Idole Ultra from Lancôme that I apply with my Real Techniques brush. I love this foundation, I find the rendering of it really flattering, it perfectly suits combination skin, covers the imperfections, has an excellent holding and most of all it matifies properly my T-zone without beying cakey. The rendering is really natural, almost invisible to the eye. Then I applied the Lasting Perfection Concealer from Collection 2000 to cover up any blemishes and I applied my beloved Touch-Expert Advanced from By Terry as an under-eye concealer. I then used by favorite blush, Flush by Topshop, and I sprayed my face with the Mist & Fix by Make Up For Ever to fix the whole base. Once absorbed, I powdered my face with the Stay Matte powder by Rimmel, which I love. I then used the Face Form palette from Sleek to contour my cheeks ( the bronzer is actually a great dupe for Nars Laguna’s bronzer!) and highlight my cheekbones.

Passons ensuite au reste du makeup. J’ai d’abord, comme toujours, fait mes sourcils à l’aide d’un duo indissociable à mes yeux, le Eyebrow Set de Catrice et le Speed Brow de Benefit. Pour les yeux, j’ai appliqué une base crème, le Groundwork de Mac, et j’ai ensuite utilisé le fard Contrast de Mac, un magnifique bleu nuit, parfait en toutes occasions. Je l’ai appliqué sur toute la paupière mobile et j’ai appliqué un peu du fard Club sur les deux-tiers externes de l’oeil, et le long du ras de cil inférieur. J’ai ensuite utilisé le fard Espresso, encore de Mac, dans le creux de l’oeil pour intensifier et souligner le regard. Enfin j’ai utilisé mon gel liner de chez Maybelline et j’ai tracé un fin trait de liner pour intensifier mon ras de cil. Je suis repassé ensuite avec le fard Contrast pour flouter le tout parce que je n’avais pas envie que le trait de liner prenne le dessus sur le reste du makeup. J’ai passé un coup de crayon noir, le Color Rich Le Smoky de L’Oréal, à l’intérieur de la muqueuse afin de bien souligner le regard. Pour finir, j’ai appliqué le fard Shroom en coin externe pour illuminer l’oeil et j’ai utilisé l’un de mes mascaras favoris, le Sexy Pulp d’Yves Rocher, dont je vous ai déjà parlé ici.

Let’s talk now about the rest of the makeup. I first, as always, did my brows with an inseparable duo, the Eyebrow Set from Catrice and the Speed Brow from Benefit. For my eyes, I applied a cream base, Groundwork by Mac, and I then used Mac’s Contrast eyeshadow, a beautiful midnight blue, perfect for all occasions. I applied it all over the lid and then applied Club eyeshadow on the two-thirds of the outer eyelid and along the lower lash line. I then used Espresso eyeshadow, again by Mac, in the crease of the eye to intensify and underline the look. Finally I used my gel liner from Maybelline and I draw a fine line of gel liner to intensify my upper lash line. I then went back with Contrast to fluff everything because I didn’t want the liner to get the upper hand on the rest of the makeup. I used a black pencil, the Color Rich Le Smoky by L’Oréal, inside my lash lines to underline the glance. To finish everything up, I applied the eyeshadow Shroom in the inner corner to illuminate the eye and I used one of my favorite mascaras, the Sexy Pulp by Yves Rocher, which I already talked about here.

Pour les lèvres je voulais quelque chose de simple et discret qui permette de porter toute l’attention sur le regard, j’ai donc utilisé un crayon liner waterproof de Sephora dans la couleur Nude (01).

For my lips I wanted something simple and discreet that would allow to focus all the attention of the eyes, so I used a waterproof lip liner from Sephora in the color Nude (01).
