En 2011 Emeli Sandé était en première partie de la tournée du célèbre groupe de rock britannique Coldplay, puis en 2012 le public la découvre aussi au Montreux Jazz Festival ainsi que durant les cérémonies d’ouverture et de clôture des Jeux Olympiques de Londres. Emeli Sandé est sur un nuage de réussite par sa notoriété grandissante et aussi de bonheur puisqu'elle s'est mariée en septembre dernier. Sa première tournée en star à part entière démarre avec 47 concerts à partir du 12 janvier 2013 par les États-Unis, en février le Canada, en mars la France avec trois dates - le 4 Paris (75), le 8 Lille (59) et le 9 Lyon (69) -, également la Belgique, le Danemark, l'Allemagne etc...
