Histoire de Charles Hiedsieck est fascinante. Parti aux Etats-Unis avant la guerre civile, on lui doit d’avoir fait la promotion des champagnes, lui valant le sobriquet de « Champagne Charlie ». En 1989, la télévision Canadienne, a fait une série retraçant la vie de Charles Hiedsieck (joué par Hugh Grant).

Charles Hiedsieck’s story is fascinating. Having arrived in the United States before the Civil War, he is is responsible for the promotion of champagnes, earning him the nickname "Champagne Charlie." In 1989, the Canadian television made a television serial depicting the life of Charles Hiedsieck (played by Hugh Grant).
