Froid / Cold

En lisant le thème de la semaine dernière vendredi dernier, je me disais qu’on était mal parti! Effectivement après les épisodes de neige et de verglas, les températures ont tellement augmentées qu’il semblait impossible de pouvoir illustrer ce thème par un sujet d’extérieur! Et là miracle : il y a eu un court retour du froid dans la nuit de mercredi à jeudi. Jeudi matin, le paysage était recouvert d’une fine pellicule blanche. Avant de partir pour le travail, j’ai donc mitraillé le jardin. Parmi les nombreuse photos que j’ai prise, je retiens au final celle-ci pour ses couleurs et l’effet grain de sel du givre.

N’étant pas spécialement botaniste ni joueur de scrabble, je vous rassurerai peut être en vous disant que c’est en rédigeant ce billet que j’ai appris que le fruit du rosier (et de l’églantier) portait le nom de cynorrhodon.

Et pour la dernière semaine de l’année le sujet sera « Préparation ». Cathy reconduira probablement le principe du projet photo. Je crois d’ailleurs que maintenant, après deux ans de participation assidue, j’aurai du mal à me passer de cette réflexion hebdomadaire…

Whilst reading the topic of the week last Friday, I thought that was a bad start! Actually after the episodes of snow and ice, temperatures have increased so much that it seemed impossible to illustrate this subject by an outside picture! And then a miracle: there was a short return of cold in the night from Wednesday to Thursday. Thursday morning, the landscape was covered with a thin white film. Before leaving for work, I strafed the garden. Among the numerous photos I have taken, I chose this one in the end it for its color and the salt grain effect of frost.

As I’m not particularly a botanist or a scrabble player, I can reassure you be saying that it is by writing this post that I’ve learned that the fruit of the rose (and rose hip) were called rosehip.

And for the last week of the year, it will be about « Preparation ». Cathy will probably renew the principle of photo project. I also think that now, after two years of regular participation, I will have trouble without this weekly reflection…
