It's hard to sum up Tunic's music since it is not locked in one single genre. After having started as a pop band, they turned heavier.
Their song Seventeen is from their last digital Industrial 01 EP, and it sounds... industrial. The same kind of noisy sound than Paper but with a female voice. It could also be pictured as a new-wave Nirvana's Bleach.
I love their rawness, love their punk attitude. Seventeen is probably one minute too long, but it sounds better than what all the Jesus and the Mary Chain wannabes usually play.

Résumer la musique de Tunic ? Difficile. Le groupe ne s'enferme pas dans un genre unique. Après avoir joué de la pop, ils composent désormais des chansons plus bruyantes.
Seventeen est tiré de leur dernier Industrial 01 EP numérique et ça sonne... industriel. Le même son saturé que Paper, mais avec une voix féminine. Le morceau peut aussi être considéré comme un titre du Bleach de Nirvana, remixé façon new-wave.
J'aime cette rugosité, j'aime cette attitude punk. Seventeen est sans doute une minute trop long, mais au final c'est toujours beaucoup mieux que tout ce que peuvent produire les aspirants Jesus and the Mary Chain.
