Pool : espace de création

Pool, c’est l’idée de Léa Padovani et Sébastien Kieffer, tous deux diplômés en 2004 en design mobilier et architecture d’intérieur.Ils travaillent et vivent à Paris. Depuis 2006, et après différentes expériences en agences, ils collaborent sur de nombreux projets pour lesquels ils discutent, se confrontent, et imaginent des premiers objets reflétant leurs interrogations sur leur place de designer, du design et de l’objet dans l’environnement. De ces réflexions naît un duo : en 2010, ils créent ensemble POOL, espace de création dont le but est de constituer des associations autour d’objets, d’architectures ou d’images. Au delà de l’évidence de l’objet, sa beauté ou sa fonction, ils recherchent la polysémie des œuvres et interpellent l’affectivité et le référent.

Behind Pool there is Léa Padovani and Sébastien Kieffer. They both live and work in Paris and graduated in 2004 in interior and furniture design. They live and work in Paris. After meeting in 2006, their collaboration soon inspired discussions and debate as they imagined the creation of their first objects that would question their role as designers, the role of design itself and of objects in the environment. These reflections led the duo to create Pool in 2010, a collective concept, whose goal is to explore associations between objects, architecture and images. Beyond the obvious presence of an object, its beauty and function, the designers search for a multiplicity of meanings and highlight the emotions and reference points.

Louxor, Lanterne domestique qui libère la lumière de ses éléments techniques pour la faire flotter. Le fluorescent devient ici un élément support, pilier de l’objet. Au sol ou à suspendre.

Wryneck, Emprunté à la forêt, Wryneck traverse à la fois le travail artisanal du placage et la technique industrielle de la découpe numérique pour trouver sa place dans l’espace domestique, sans renier son état premier. Matériaux : noyer & liège. Fabriqué par Walnutsgroove

L’idéal du moi, rappelle la première fois que l’on se perçoit dans un miroir, le reflet est alors décomposé par l’objet. matériaux : métal plié & cadre en bois.
