Quelle course de fou furieux à Phillip Island avec un Pôl Espargaro au sommet de son art et un trio de suivant pas piqué des hannetons comme dirait Pierre Perret...West, Marquez et Redding ..;puis plus loin 7 mercenaires ! Prêt à tout !

Au bout du compte, Espargaro à 16 secondes d'avance sur ses poursuivants à l'arrivée et Antony west porté par le public comme Sissis en Moto-3 taxe Marquez et Redding...c'est bô !

Johann zarco et Mike Dimé finissent dans les points 6 et 15...Bravo

Marc Marquez ne pouvant plus être rejoint au classement il est Champion du Monde Moto-2 pour cette année 2012 et montera titré en GP pour 2013 chez Honda Repsol.
