English Version
A few days ago, my family were over from Brazil. In their list of sightseeing essentials, there was the Louvre museum, the Orsay museum, the Colette shop, the Ice Kube and.. LeNôtre !!!!!!! I was a little taken back at first but finally thought to myself that it made perfect sense ; they just wanted to see the best France had to offer. All I can say is that where cakes are concerned, there is no better. I took them to the shop next to my place and on top of the large variety of desserts and chocolates they had to offer, I was also given a magazine commemorating the 50 years of LeNôtre. Actually it was last not this year as Colette and Gaston LeNôtre moved into the Auteuil neighbourhood in 1957 in order to open a small cake shop. Everyone knows what happened next, the House of LeNôtre is known throughout the world. I kept this piece for Easter Sunday, so that you can feast your eyes on the beauty of the photos, true works of art I would say. Such a shame to have to destroy such wonders by eating them. Once I had relished every angle of them with my eyes, I sampled each one, closing my eyes in the process to enable me to fully savour each mouthful. Happy Easter to all !!!!!!!!!!!!
