The Ivorian super star, Meiway who is billed to perform alongside Abrantie Amakye Dede on Saturday September 15, at the Accra International Conference Centre, arrived in Ghana on Wednesday night with his band.
He was met on arrival at the Kotoka International Airport by Amakye Dede and the organizers of the event, Imajin Advertising.
Meiway who declared his readiness to rock Ghana with most of his hit songs, stage craft and dancing skills, said he would perform to the satisfaction of music lovers who would witness the show.
Legends and Legacy Ball, which sought to celebrate the musical achievements and legacies of legends was being organized to honour the king of highlife music, Abrantie Amakye Dede.
The event would also witness performances from Samini, Okyeame Kwame, Becca, Eazzy, Kwabena Kwabena, Daasebre Gwamena and sexaphonist, Steve Bedi.
The organizers have announced that tickets for the event were now available at Koala and Peace Fm.
The special ticket for the event was a ‘booklet’ which opened with a recorded message from the singer, Abrantie Amakye Dede.
The message started with Amakye Dede’s hit song, ‘Sokoo Na Mmaa Pe’ and was followed by a voice message from him saying: “Hi my name is Abrantie Amakye Dede I am inviting you to the Conference Centre on September 15. Be there and I will be there for you too.”
The message was followed by an exclamation of the singer’s catch phrase, ‘Serious’ and voice that said, ‘You Are Our Special Guest.’
