Un autre tube imparable du groupe est le génial "California girls" (#3 US-#26 UK) qui démontre l'évolution musicale incroyable de Brian Wilson en finalement très peu de temps.

Al Jardine ne figure pas sur la pochette car il était malade le jour de la séance photo.

Une superbe réussite, malgré quelques couacs (le rire maniaque de "Amusement Parks USA" dont je me passerais bien personnellement ou l'éternel blague sur le père Wilson "I'm bugged at my ol' man").
