Palaces of Montezuma

Parfois il y a des associations auxquelles on ne penserait jamais… C’est ce qui arrivé avec ce t-shirt et cette jupe. Le t-shirt, je l’ai acheté lors de la sortie du deuxième album de Grinderman. Ceux-ci c’étaient associés à l’artiste Ilinca Höpfner afin qu’elle réalise les illustrations de l’album. Pour le single Palaces of Montezuma, elle avait dessiné Nick Cave en espèce de dieu aztec et j’avais trouvé le dessin vraiment original. Puis la semaine passée, je me suis décidée pour cette jupe ASOS Curve. Je ne suis pas à fond dans la tendance aztec/Mexique mais elle me plaisaît bien (surtout avec un code de réduction en plus!). En triant ma garde-robe je suis retombée sur le t-shirt et voilà comment je suis arrivée à cette association que je trouve vraiment fun.

Sometimes you’d never think to pair two items of clothing… But that’s what happened with this top and skirt. The t-shirt was bought for the release of Grinderman‘s second album. They worked with Ilinca Höpfner who did all the illustrations for the album. For the single, Palaces of Montezuma, she drew Nick Cave as some kind of Aztec God and I thought the drawing was super original. Then last week, I bought this ASOS Curve skirt. I am not head over heels into the whole Aztec/Mexican trend but I really liked the skirt (especially with an extra discount code!). While I was going through my wardrobe I found the t-shirt and that’s how this outfit came together, I thought it’s really fun and unexpected.
