La chanson Young & Lovely de Jherek Bischoff, est le fruit d’une collaboration avec Zac Pennington et Soko. A l’occasion de la sortie de son album Composed (à venir le 14 juin chez Leaf), Jherek Bischoff en a profité pour mettre ce morceau en images.
Mais qui est Jherek Bischoff ? C’est un compositeur, arrangeur, producteur, musicien… ou ce qu’on qualifie souvent de surdoué touche-à-tout. On a déjà retrouvé un peu de son art sur les albums de Xiu Xiu, Casiotone for the Painfully Alone ou la majestueuse baroque Amanda Palmer.
Ce nouvel album Composed réuni des invités tout à fait exceptionnels, avec notamment : David Byrne, Caetano Veloso, Craig Wedren, Soko, Carla Bozulich, Mirah (du duo Thao & Mirah), ou encore son camarade Zac Pennington (Parenthetical Girls)… sans oublier la participation des musiciens talentueux tels que le guitariste Nels Cline de Wilco et le batteur Greg Saunier de Deerhoof.
