Note: Parker's third studio session, the infamous "Lover Man" date. "Bebop" features a fiery two-chorus trumpet solo by McGhee and a disintegrating Charlie Parker.
McGhee went on to finish the session as a quartet, continuing with the exceptional passion he demonstrates on "Bebop." Parker went back to his hotel, wound up in jail, and then off to the Camarillo State Mental Hospital for rehabilitation.

Suivront 6 mois d'hospitalisation forcée... Et le titre "Relaxin' at Camarillo, enregistré le 26 février 1947, toujours pour Dial.
