Battle Fraich'attitude

Nos amuses bouches - our appetisers   Il y a une dizaine de jours, j’ai participé, à une joute culinaire organisé par Fraîch’attitude à Paris dans leur local rue du Faubourg Poissonnière. Nous étions 13 blogueurs participants divisés en groupes de 3 ou 4. Deux épreuves nous attendaient : 5 amuses-bouches avec un panier de saison (oranges, citrons, rhubarbe, oignons rouges, asperges, petits pois, radis) et 1 ingrédient imposé (foie de cabillaud pour nous), une recette à suivre (pancakes aux fraises) cuisiné par un participant aux yeux bandés, suivants des instructions des camarades.
J’ai passé une excellente journée à revoir quelques blogueurs et à rencontrer d'autres.

 *** About ten days ago, I participated in a culinary battle organized by Fraîch'attitude in Paris in their premises on rue du Faubourg Poissonnière. We were 13 bloggers divided in groups of 3 or 4. There were two tests: making 5 amuses bouches with a basket of seasonal veggies and fruit (oranges, lemons, rhubarb, red onions, asparagus, peas, radish) and a complusory ingredient (cod liver for us), followed by a recipe to be made (strawberry pancakes) by one of the team members blindfolded, following instructions given by others. I had a wonderful time reconnecting with some bloggers and meeting others for the first time. The photos of this superbe day were taken by Sébastien Le Roy. ***
