After touring the world for 9 months with his third album The Pleasure Principle, DJ T. returns to close the cycle of the album with its final remix package, The Pleasure Principle – Remix Edition. A 16 track collection of 7 artist remixes and 4 of T.’s own interpretations and 5 acapella. After reviewing the original version it is now time to get you through this excellent package of massive tracks that has been released under the German imprint Get Physical, at the beginning of February.

David August's rendition of “Leavin Me” featuring Khan is a great start to things. Like a tide pulling you out to the edge of your mind, then dropping you into the night's steamy dancefloor. David August has definitely got our attention. Then, M A N I K's “Paradise LL Mix” delivers a strong remix of “Opera Buffa” that definitely deserves its title with its classic bass line and wonderful melody play. 'Time Slip' gets a Subb-an re-interpretation, with a buttery smooth bass line and the added vocals of a friendly singer, you could groove hours to. Mario & Vidis turn “Remember the Future” featuring Jaw down to a rumbling bass track. Deep House vibes for your soul.
“Yesterday Tomorrow” becomes a hot classic house-tune, groove and rhythm meet in Findling & Lihab’s remix. Jimmy Edgar brings out the chord stabs in classic house fashion, creating a steamy edit of “Nothing Even Comes Close”. Finally, Julian Ganzer adds pressure in his remix of “Sense” then takes us up a level to show us the clouds. A wonderful mid tempo piece of smooth house music.
DJ T. includes his own “Take Off” version of “Same Plane”, utilizing brass horns against a funk bass to get us on our feet. His “Night in Turin Mix” of “Opera Buffa” is inspired by his last gig in the North-Italian city and adds a note of Italo House to its mix, creating an oldschool dance experience throughout. The former exclusive track “Discotrain” makes its way into Beatport for the first time in a dj-friendlier extended version. DJ T. and his Miami-homie Jean Le Phunk edit 'Burning' into a dark Tech House monster with hefty kicks and deep bass.
The album also offers the acapella of James Teej, Kahn, Cary Golden, Nick Maurer and Dave Aju for all the edit-heads out there to mix, cut, and chop to suit your needs. Have fun!

Après avoir fait le tour du monde pendant près de 9 mois pour la promotion de leur troisième album « The Pleasure Principle », DJ T. revient en pleine forme avec un album de remixes produit avec soin. La version proposée par David August's de « Leavin Me» en featuring avec Khan est un excellent point de départ à cet album. Comme une marée nous tirant hors des sentiers battus, on tombe rapidement sur un dancefloor torride. David August réussi à attirer notre attention. Puis, c’est au tour de MANIK d’offrir un puissant remix d’« Opera Buffa » qui mérite vraiment son titre, avec une ligne de basse classique et jeu merveilleux de mélodies. Le titre « Time Slip » a quant à lui été revu par Subban, en lui ajoutant une ligne de basse lisse et le vocal d’un chanteur plutôt sympa, qui vous fera groover jusqu’à pas d’heure. Puis, on retrouve Mario & Vidis avec « Remember The Future » et le vocal de Jaw, une piste produite avec une basse grondante. Des vibes deep house pour vous faire bouger s’en dégagent avec force.
“Yesterday Tomorrow” qui deviendra sous peu un classic de la house music, se trouve gonflé par le groove et le rythme du remix de Findling & Lihab. Jimmy Edgar fait quant à lui ressortir les cordes de ce titre encore house, créant une version torride de “Nothing Even Comes Close”. Enfin, Julian Ganzer ajoute une pression musicale à "Sense" qui nous emmène dans un univers nuageux des plus agréables. Un morceau mid tempo pour un track smooth de house music, encore une fois.
Enfin, DJ T. nous livre « Take Off » une nouvelle version de “Same Plane”, en utilisant des sonorités cuivrées et une basse funk, pour faire danser nos pieds. Son “Night in Turin Mix” d’“Opera Buffa” est inspiré de sa dernière date en Italie du Nord avec l’ajout d’une touche d’Italo House, ce qui permet ici de créer une expérience dansante old-school. La piste "Discotrain" fait quant à elle pour la première fois son apparition sur Beatport en version longue. DJ T. et son pote Jean Le Phunk ont bossé ensemble sur "Burning" pour en faire un monstre tech-house sombre avec un kick puissant et une basse lourde et profonde. A ne pas rater donc.
