Watch out, Shake it out is a great song. I mean it. Every song on this blog is obviously good. At least, according to me. But this one is great. And it was made by a band, which has never released any album. An unsigned band, which is totally umbelievable since their music is actually quite mainstream. Trust me, if they were English they would definitely be on the NME cover. But they are from Gothenburg (like most of great Swedish bands).
I have actually already mentionned Backslick in this blog more than a year and half ago. Then, I admit they quit my radar. A shame since, as I wrote, Push him into something good was an obvious hit. Shake it out is even better. Catchy and energetic. It sounds as if At the Drive-in was covering a Bloc Party song. Hope their new "EP" (produced by Hans Olsson from Timo Räisänen & Universal Poplab) will give them a beginning of success. They deserve it.

Pour mes compatriotes français
Attention, Shake it out est une chanson énoooorme. Bien-sûr, toutes les chansons sur ce blog sont de qualité. Enfin, selon moi. Mais celle-ci est particulièrement jouissive. Et elle a été réalisée par un groupe qui n'a encore sorti aucun disque. En plus, ce groupe reste sans label, chose impensable tant leur musique est grand public. Croyez-moi : s'ils étaient Anglais, ils feraient la Une de NME. Malheureusement, ils sont de Göteborg (comme tout groupe suédois digne de ce nom).
J'ai déjà évoqué Backslick dans ce blog, il y a plus d'un an et demi. Et puis, je les ais un peu perdu de vue. J'avoue. Une honte puisque, comme je l'avais écrit, leur chanson Push him into something good était un hit évident. Shake it out est encore plus réussi. Entrainante et énergique. Un peu comme si At the Drive-in jouait une reprise de Bloc Party. J'espère donc que leur nouvel "EP" (produit par Hans Olsson de Timo Räisänen & Universal Poplab) leur apportera un début de succès. Ils le méritent.
