En 1989, Chava Alberstein critique la politique d'Israël à l'encontre des palestiniens avec la chanson "Chad Gadya" : cette reprise d'une chanson traditionnelle juive sera interdite sur les ondes de la radio publique israélienne. J'ai redécouvert cette année cette chanson dans le cadre de l'exposition "Traces" du réalisateur Amos Gitaï ("Kippour", "Free Zone") présentée au Palais de Tokyo (Paris, France). Dans le cadre de cette exposition était projeté le long plan-séquence d'ouverture de son film "Free Zone" (2005) où Nathalie Portman pleure en silence dans une voiture sur la chanson "Chad Gadya" de Chava Alberstein. In 1989, Chava Alberstein has criticized Israel's policy towards Palestinians with the song "Chad Gadya": the traditional song Jewish song will be banned from Israel State Radio. I have rediscovered this song this year as part of the exhibition "Traces" by director Amos Gitai ("Kippur", "Free Zone") presented at the Palais de Tokyo (Paris, France). In this exhibition was planned the opening of his film "Free Zone" (2005) where Nathalie Portman is crying silently in a car on the song "Chad Gadya" by Chava Alberstein. Let's play music!
