Alors que la Croisette s’impatiente devant la montée des marches, Cannes annonce déjà son prochain buzz ! Le 9e Festival International de la Photographie de Mode à Cannes accueillera cette année comme invité d’honneur le photographe Tyen.
Ancien adepte des photographes Richard Avedon et Irving Penn, Tyen commença sa carrière comme maquilleur avant de se passionner lui-même pour la photographie mode et de mettre en scène des icônes du cinéma-glamour comme Monica Bellucci, Emmanuelle Béart ou bien la belle Nathalie Portman.
Pour cette occasion la Croisette se transformera en véritable musée d’extérieur ! Un choix pointu de photos mode rassemblant 90 photographes venus du monde entier vont décorer la ville à partir du 15 juin, pendant 2 mois. Des installations panoramiques seront placées au coeur de la palmeraie voisine, dans la rue d’Antibes et dans la roseraie du port Canto où l’oeuvre de Tyen y sera exposé en grand format. Une belle opportunité pour profiter de l’art et du soleil cannois !

Cannes: when fashion meets photography !
While the Croisette impatiently waits for the Cannes Film Festival to begin, Cannes already comes up with the next buzz ! The 9th International Festival of Fashion Photography in Cannes will be hosted this year by star-photographer Tyen.
Former assistant of photographers Richard Avedon and Irving Penn, Tyen began his career as a makeup-artist before evolving into the world of fashion photography by staging glamorous cinema-icons, such as Monica Bellucci, Emmanuelle Béart and the beautiful Nathalie Portman.
For this occasion, the Croisette will be transformed into a veritable museum ! A selection of fashion photos provided by 90 photographers from all around the world will decorate the city from June 15 on. Panoramas will be placed on the Croisette, on the Antibes Street and at the Port Canto rose garden where Tyen’s work will be exhibited. What a great opportunity to enjoy the sunny city of Cannes !
