Join us as author Lesa Cline-Ransome and illustrator James E. Ransome chat about their new childrens book, Before There Was Mozart. This inspiring and true tale depicts the life of Joseph Boulogne, the son of a plantation owner and a slave, who despite prejudice became one of Europes finest classical musicians, known as the “Black Mozart”, Boulogne was an important figure on the Paris music scene, writing numerous symphonies and operas.
