Casablanca (الدار البيضاء – ad-dar al-baïda en arabe –, littéralement « maison blanche », mais appelée couramment Casa – prononcée kâzâ), est la plus grande ville du Maroc. Capitale économique du pays, elle est située sur la côte Atlantique à environ 80 km au sud de la capitale administrative Rabat. Ses habitants se nomment les Bédaouis en arabe, les Casaouis en arabe dialectal marocain et les Casablancais en français.
Casablanca compte 3 269 962 habitants1, ce qui fait d'elle la ville la plus peuplée du Maghreb. Elle se situe dans la région du Grand Casablanca, l'agglomération la plus importante du pays, et la deuxième du Maghreb.
