L’un des acteur les plus populaire du cinéma israélien, Yossef Shiloah, est décédé des suites d’un cancer à l’âge de 69 ans.
Originaire du Kurdistan, il est arrivé en Israël en 1950. Il a joué des rôles comiques, incarnant le plus souvent des personnages excentriques dans des dizaines de films « bourekas » qui sont devenus cultes pour les Israéliens de toutes générations.
Né en 1941. Joseph Shiloah a commencé sa carrière d’acteur dans le début des années 60. Avec plus de 80 films à son actif, il a également fait une carrière internationale remarquée participant à de nombreux films étrangers, essentiellement américains..
