English Lauer, Canard and Soneec return with an EP that takes the talents of 3 of house music’s brightest stars, mixes them up and fires out 3 funky tracks in the form of the “Roots EP”. Indeed they produced some weeks ago the excellent track « The Making Of You » featuring Robert Owens. It has been release on November 8th under a label of Toolroom Records: Leaders Of The New School”. Lauer, Canard & Soneec -Sunny Lead track “I Need You” makes no excuses for being a lively, feel good tune as a bed of springing drums bounce beneath sparkling stabs that lead towards a peak-time breakdown that won’t fail to get the crowd rocking. Then, “Summer Love” demonstrates the flexibility of this trio with a distinct change of mood. Punchy beats create a solid base for dreamy pads, euphoric melodies and soft synths to sweep you through 7 minutes of blissful house or deep house atmosphere. Final track “Sunny” sees this production team really strut their stuff and up the ante with a disco-tinged gem. Jackin’ beats bounce alongside uplifting tones and a screechy synth before dropping into a fun-fuelled breakdown that is guaranteed to leave the crowd smiling. This track has a “Daddy cool” spirit for sure. This EP has something for everyone and sows the quality of releases on Leaders Of The New School just keeps on getting better as it is the case too with the latest release of Filthy Rich “Get fresh” we reviewed some days ago… Get on it! Il se compose de tambours qui rebondissent avec un break étincelant,  qui ne devrait décevoir personne. Puis, c’est au tour de "Summer Love" de démontrer avec brio sa force musicale. On y ressent un net changement d’humeur. Plus punchy dans son rythme, on y retrouve une basse solide avec des mélodies euphoriques et de doux synthés qui vous feront danser pendant 7 minutes, dans une atmosphère deep house, des plus chaleureuses. Enfin, le titre "Sunny" conclu ce trio de production funky avec enthousiasme. C’est un petit joyau musical tinté de disco.  Avec un beat simple et un côté exaltant accompagné de synthés criards, il va à coup sûr faire sourire les foules des dancefloors. Cette piste a un esprit "Daddy cool", à coup sûr. Cet EP finalement assez original devrait plaire à tout le monde et montre une nouvelle fois la qualité du label Leaders Of The New School qui ne cesse
