To produce fortune cookies in porcelain seems to absurd at first. Cookies are there to eat them and porcellain is not there to break it.
Or maybe yes? Isn‘t there the german saying: »Brocken crockery brigns you luck«? And isn‘t another english word for porcelain also »china«? And seriously: Are the fortune cookies really so delicious, or isn‘t it rather the auspicious message that fascinates us?
One thing is for sure: Through the transition into another material, the moment of the breaking will be emotionally multiple increased. You don‘t break just a simple piece of dough, you will break finest porcelain.
