I got to have the real Sunday lunch during my visit. The kind of meal where you get the nice table and the Grandfather gets his Floc de Gascogne -local drink-out (I wasn't driving thank you very much so I had both the red and the white one), the Grandmother working hard in the kitchen to serve all the family she invited. Oh yes because that's mainly what this is, this is a family deal, it's my aunt and uncle I barely saw last year because it was the middle of tobacco harvesting season. The cousin who was stuck in the grape harvest last year and brought a bottle of Pacherenc this year, the round belly cousin and her other half. Time of sharing, laughs, memories. And of great meal of course, Alsacian (North-East France) a bit of a surprise when you're eating in the South Ouest.
La belle table. The nice table
Pate et salade d'endives. Pate and endives salad.

To have dessert we had to unmols the iced cake, to unmold it we needed the hair dryer.
