ou la découverte d’une autre partie de la ville de Kobe avec une promenade pluvieuse a Shin Nagata.  Ce coin de Kobe a été très durement touche par le tremblement de terre en 1995 et essaye depuis de se revitaliser avec la construction de… de… de… Gigantor ou le Tetsujin en Japonais. Alors mais qui est ce robot géant? Et bien comme vous vous en doutez, c’est un personnage de manga! Il a ete créé en 1956 par l’auteur Yokoyama Mitsuteru ne a Kobe.

or the discovery of a new neighborhood of Kobe: Shin Nagata. This part of Kobe was badly hurt during the earthquake in 1995. Since then, they rebuilt houses and stores and took as a symbol this guy…. the Gigantor or Tetsujin in Japanese. So who is this geant? It is a manga character, created in 1956 by Yokoyama Mitsuteru who was borned in Kobe.

Apparemment, plusieurs évènements devaient se passer en ce dimanche mais la pluie battante a annule pas mal de chose mais nous avons  quand même croise des écoliers qui faisaient de la musique dans la galerie marchande couverte.

That Sunday was supposed to be full of events, but with this rain most of the things were cancelled or were held inside. We caught the little kids playing some music in the covered market. So cute!

Nous avons aussi croise les statues des caractères des mangas des Trois Royaumes du même auteur que le Gigantor.

Walking around, we saw the statues of the warrriors from an other manga by the same author of Gigantor, The tale of the Three Kingdoms.

Enfin nous avons clôture notre petit tour par le Shoe Plaza. Je m’attendais a plusieurs magasins de chaussures et bien nous sommes tombes sur 3 magasins ou l’on peut se faire faire des chaussures sur mesure, ce qui est assez rare lorsque tout vient de Chine. Voila en attendant des ciels plus cléments!

Finally, we finished our tour with the promise of shoes at the Shoe Plaza. I was expecting a lot of stores but only found 3 small ones. However, if you want hand made and tailored shoes you have to go there. It’s good to think that you don’t have to buy your shoes only from China but that there are still craftsmen around!
