Indeed, at the end of September, our favorite Swedish DJ, John Dahlback released his new EP with 2 tracks "Farao" and "Sfinx" on his label Mutants Records. 7th release of this young label, we informed you about this upcoming EP in our review of his last production "Light of day" he worked on with Albin Myers. We then announced the comeback of John Dahlback with more personal productions. After we heard the extracts on his Soundcloud account, it foreshadowed the best. The full version didn’t disappoint us. John Dahlback - Sfinx Released on September 29th in digital format, these two new productions mark the comeback of John Dahlback, with production more in line with his own world. If his previous tracks were surfing on the wave of the electro-house, these two tracks sound with melodies more coherent with the preferences of the Swedish artist. Indeed, we were interrogative about the last tracks he produced. But here, he offers us two tracks influenced by the Egyptian world. For "Farao", there are twisted synthesizers fuelled by devastating drums that create a monster of progressive house music. The music is catchy with a chorus that will take you to the Nile! Concerning " Sfinx ", get ready to put your hands in the air. This is the best track of this EP. It consists of horns infested of madness that perfectly reflect the influences of Dahlback, with rhythms that make us think about "Blink" for certain moments, as crazy as it seems. There is also a small and simple vocal that works very well on the melody. Just wicked!   Bring the noise, John Dahlback is back in town!!! En effet, fin Septembre notre Dj suédois préféré, John Dahlback, a sorti son nouvel EP composé des titres « Farao » et « Sfinx », sur son label Mutants Records. 7ème opus de ce tout jeune label, nous vous avions averti de cette sortie lors de la chronique pour sa production « Light of day » réalisé avec Albin Myers. Nous vous avions alors annoncé le grand retour de John Dahlback avec des productions plus personnelles, qui collaient mieux à son style de prédilection.  Après avoir entendu les extraits disponibles sur son Soundcloud cela nous laissait présager du meilleur. John Dahlback - Sfinx Sortie le 29 Septembre en format digital, ces deux nouvelles productions marquent pour nous le grand retour de John Dahlback avec des productions plus en lien avec son univers. Si ces dernières sorties surfaient sur la vague de l’électro-house, on retrouve ici deux tracks avec des mélodies qui sonnent dans le style de prédilection de l’artiste suédois. En effet, nous avions été interrogatifs quant aux derniers tracks qu’il avait produits. Il nous offre ici deux titres aux noms influencés par l’univers égyptien. Pour « Farao », on y retrouve un très bon synthé avec des drums terriblement efficaces qui créent un monstre de musique progressive house. La musique se veut entrainante avec un refrain musical qui vous emportera danser au bord du Nil ! Pour ce qui est de « Sfinx » préparez-vous à lever les bras en l’air. C’est le meilleur track de cet EP. Il se compose quant à lui de sonneries assez folles et reflète à merveille les influences de Dah
