Lucasfilm Ltd a annoncé mercredi que le « live-action » STAR WARS Saga sortira en 3D! Peu de films se prêtent aussi bien au 3D; à partir de l’attaque de Death Star aux courses sur Tatooine, la saga STAR WARS a toujours offert une expérience incroyable et prenante. Twentieth Century Fox et Lucasfilm Ltd garantissent la meilleure conversion en 3D. Industrial Light & Magic supervisent le projet. STAR WARS: Episode I La Menace Fantôme sort en salles en 2012. La date exacte n’est pas encore déterminée.

«Obtenir des bons résultats sur une conversion stéréo demande du temps et de la précision», a déclaré John Knoll, superviseur des effets visuels pour Industrial Light & Magic. «Il faut un regard critique et artistique avec une incroyable attention aux détails pour un résultat optimal. Agir dans la précipitation ne peut donner de résultats satisfaisants. Pour STAR WARS, nous allons prendre notre temps, en appliquant tout ce que nous connaissons esthétiquement et techniquement pour offrir une fantastique nouvelle expérience STAR WARS aux spectateurs.

Lucasfilm Ltd. heeft gisteren aangekondigd dat de live-action STAR WARS saga omgezet zal worden naar 3D! Er zijn weinig films die zichzelf beter lenen tot 3D. Van de aanval op de Death Star tot de Podraces op Tatooine, de STAR WARS saga heeft altijd garant gestaan voor een meeslepende entertainmentervaring. Twentieth Century Fox en Lucasfilm Ltd. garanderen de best mogelijke omzetting naar 3D, waardoor de belevenis nog meeslepender zal worden. Industrial Light & Magic, de bekroonde studio die instond voor de visuele effecten van alle live-action STAR WARS films, zal het project opvolgen. STAR WARS: Episode I The Phantom Menace krijgt een bioscooprelease in 2012.

“Je moet de tijd nemen om het goed te doen, dan pas krijg je goede resultaten.”, zei John Knoll, de Visual Effects Supervisor van Industrial Light & Magic. “Om succesvol te zijn, heb je een kritisch en artistiek oog nodig met een ongelofelijke aandacht voor alle kleine details. Het is niet iets dat je kan overhaasten als je goede resultaten verwacht. Voor STAR WARS zullen we onze tijd nemen en al onze esthetische en technische kennis toepassen. Zo zullen we het publiek een fantastische nieuwe STAR WARS-ervaring bezorgen.”
