Guitar hero contre Rock band
Activision comme Harmonix n'ont cessé de toujours proposer de plus en plus de titres pour Guitar hero et Rock band. Prévus respectivement pour la fin du mois de septembre et la fin du mois de novembre, sur PS3, Xbox 360 et Wii, Guitar hero : Warriors of Rock et Rock Band 3 ont vu leurs tracklists respectives enfin dévoilées au complet.
Ce que l'on peut tout d'abord remarquer c'est que les répertoires offrent deux approches bien différentes. Conformément au souhait d'Activision, la diversité de la tracklist de Guitar Hero : Warriors of Rock a été restreinte pour proposer surtout du rock et du metal (Aerosmith, Anthrax, Metallica, Dragonforce, Megadeth, Rammstein ...), tandis que la tracklist de Rock Band 3, bien qu'un peu plus maigre, est plus diversifiée (Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, James Brown, Juanes, John Lenon, mais aussi Anthrax, Deep Purple ou encore Slipknot). Cepdnant il est bon de remarquer que parmi la tracklist de Rock Band 3 il y a des titres qui figuraient déjà sur la tracklist d'autres jeux du genre ("Before I Forget" de GH3 ou encore "Du Hast" de GH5). Enfin, il ne faut pas oublier qu'Activision a aussi prévu de mettre en ligne tout au long du mois d'Août 15 autres titres, cette fois-ci a télécharger.
