C'est la Rentrée

Back to School
Même après 4 ans (dans deux jours) aux USA, même après avoir passé un an dans un lycée Texan, et bien j'oublie quand même qu'ici la rentrée c'est a la mi-août.
Sauf ce-matin, a peine sortie de ma rue, je vois un jeune cartable au dos, 500m plus loin c'est une troupe. Et au croisement je me rappelle soudain que c'est non seulement les écoles mais l'université en voyant la file de voiture avec leur autocollant d'étudiant. Zut il va me falloir quitter la maison quelques minutes plus tôt pour continuer à être à l'heure au travail.
Un jour, un jour je me rapellerai que la rentrée est en août et pas en Septembre comme de l'autre coté de l'Atlantique. Un jour aussi je me rappelerai que leurs vacances commencent en Mai.
Even after 4 years (in two days) in the USA, even after spending a year in a Texas high-school I still forget that school starts mid-August.
Except this morning, as soon as I got off of my street, I saw a young man with a school bag on his back, 500m farther it was a pack of them. At the crossroad I suddenly remembered that it's not only the schools but also the universities as I saw the line of cars with their student stickers. Darn, I'll have to remember to leave home earlier to be on time a work.
One day, I will remember that school starts in August and not September like overseas. One day I will also remember that their vacation starts in May.
