As we told you recently, the Swedish producers are really hot right now. Max Vangeli and AN21 the Swedish guy (Steve Angello's brother) are indeed currently on the front of the electronic music scene, with their latest remix of the track "Always" from Switchfoot. It has been released today under Big Beat / Atlantic Records. This is a electro production well inspired of the original track, directed by the American alternative rock band, Switchfoot.

The original version was created at the beginning by one of the most known band in San Diego : Switchfoot. This rock band has received several awards, especially in San Diego as the best group and best album for several years running. The original track has been also used during episodes of U.S. series like The Hills and Grey's Anatomy. It is extracted from their seventh studio album "Hello Hurricane" and was aired for the first time on radio in September 2009.

This remix, which gives a new life to the original, has a good break that cuts intelligently the simple and effective electro production. With a gradual melody at the beginning, the track takes off with the voice of Jon Foreman, which goes with a punchy guitar riff. At the end of the track, we have an explosion of electro samples in the manner of the Swedish House Mafia: efficient and clean.

At the end, we can say it is a good electro track, which should delight many clubbers if you play this track in front of them for a mixed session...

Comme nous vous le disions récemment, les suédois sont vraiment très chauds en ce moment. Max Vangeli et AN21 le suédois (frère de Steve Angello) viennent ainsi de sortir ce jour leur tout dernier remix. Il s’agit du titre « Always » de Switchfoot qui vient voir le jour sur le label Big Beat / Atlantic Records. C’est une production bien électro qui s’inspire intelligemment de l’original du titre, réalisé par le groupe de rock alternatif américain, Switchfoot.

Le titre a été composé à la base par les des groupes phares de San Diego. Switchfoot est d’ailleurs une formation auréolée de plusieurs awards, surtout obtenus à San Diego en tant que meilleur groupe et meilleur album plusieurs années de suite, dans cette ville de l’Ouest des Etats Unis. L’original a par ailleurs été utilisé durant les épisodes des séries américaines The Hills et Grey’s Anatomy. Il est extrait du septième album du groupe« Hello Hurricane » et avait été diffusé pour la première fois à la radio en Septembre 2009.

Ce remix, qui donne un second souffle à l’original, bénéficie d’un bon break qui coupe intelligemment une production électro simple et efficace. Avec une mélodie progressive sur le départ, le track prend son envol avec la voix de Jon Foreman, seulement accompagné dans le break par un riff de guitare. A la sortie de celui-ci on a le droit à une explosion de samples electro à la manière d’une Swedish House Mafia : efficace et propre.

On a donc au final un bon track bien électro comme il faut, qui devrait ravir les nombreux clubbeurs devant lesquels vous jouerez le track…
