« Silver Heart », Kinary’s Sketchbook

Petite présentation de l'un des fanzines que je me suis procurée lors de la Japan Expo : "Silver Heart" de Kinary.

Kinary

Kinary est un dessinateur français né le 27 mars 1983, auteur de projets comme Infinite Core, Exelion, et Last Chroma. Il a participé à la réalisation de SwordXSorcery : Wing’s of Destiny avec Raynart qui a reçu le prix fan'zine catégorie BD à la Japan Expo 2008. Kinary d'ailleurs participé à un concours manga organisé par la FNAC, et a terminé second dans la catégorie Shonen avec Exelion. Lors de la Japan Expo 2010, on pouvait le retrouver aux côtés de Vinhnyu, sous l'appellation "TSUNDEREKO".

Kinary is a french artist born March 27, 1983, author of projects as Infinite Core, Exelion, and Last Chroma. He participated in the realization of SwordXSorcery : Wing’s of Destiny with Raynart and they won a prize : fan'zine BD category at the Japan Expo 2008. Kinary also participated in a manga competition organized by FNAC, and finished second in the Shonen category with Exelion. At the Japan Expo 2010, we could find with Vinhnyu, under the circle name "TSUNDEREKO".

Composition

Silver Heart est un sketchbook de 60 pages en noir et blanc, dans lequel on peut retrouver les divers projets de Kinary. Au début, on découvre un éditorial de l'auteur, sa présentation ainsi qu'un sommaire, qui décrit ce que contient exactement Silver Heart : des sketchs, portraits, storyboard, BD de "Infinite Core", "Last Chroma" et "Exelion", mais aussi des Fanarts. Ce sketchbook regroupe donc énormément de travaux du dessinateur datant de 2007 à aujourd'hui.

Silver Heart is a 60 pages sketchbook in black and white, in which we can find various Kinary projects. At the beginning of the book, we find a french editorial by the author, a presentation and a summary that describes exactly what we can find in Silver Heart : sketches, portraits, storyboard, BD of  "Infinite Core", "Last Chroma" and "Exelion", but also Fanarts. This sketchbook contains many works of Kinary from 2007 to 2010.

Avis

Silver Heart est mon premier fanzine, mais aussi mon premier sketchbook. Il contient vraiment de très jolis croquis crayonnés. Le travail réalisé sur chacun d'entre eux est vraiment impressionnant. Je dois avouer que j'ai une petite préférence pour certains personnages, et je pense que cela n'étonnera personne : Karen (pour ses longs cheveux, et sa mine boudeuse sur l'un des dessins), Rena-san (pour sa prestance) et Infy (pour le côté sexy) de "Infinite Core" et Lonalina (parce qu'elle est mignonne) de "Exelion". Les sketchs et portraits de "Infinite Core" m'ont d'ailleurs donné envie d'en apprendre plus sur l'histoire, et les personnages. Il est a noter que l'édition de Silver Heart est vraiment très belle : on a vraiment l'impression que le crayonné de certains dessins a été réalisé sur l'exemplaire (je pense par exemple aux personnages chibi à la fin). N'hésitez pas à vous procurer ce sketchbook, si Kinary fait de la VPC, et dans le cas contraire, n'hésitez pas à suivre ses actualités !

Silver Heart is my first fanzine, but also my first sketchbook. It contains some beautiful pencil sketch. The work on each of them is really impressive. I must confess that I have a little preference for four characters, but this is not a surprise : Karen (for her long hair, and her pounty expression), Rena-san (for her presence) and Infy (for her sexy side) in "Infinite Core" and Lonalina (because she is cute) in "Exelion". With sketches and portraits of "Infinite Core"  I  want to learn more about the story and characters. We must note that the edition of Silver Heart is really beautiful : we really feel that some drawings were made on the copy (for example chibi characters at the end of the book). Do not hesitate to get this sketchbook, if Kinary will make VPC, and do not hesitate to follow his news !
