Nouvel album exceptionnel qui comprend de nombreux moments forts : "Dancing with the moonlight knight", "I know what I like", "Firth of fifth" classique des concerts de Genesis et l'un de mes titres favoris avec une partie de flûte et de guitare très Crimsonienne à tomber, "More fool me" chanté par Phil Collins (une première) et "The cinema show".

En mai 1974, le single "I know what I like-Twilight alehouse (Gabriel-Banks-Rutherford-Phillips)(inédit )" devient leur premier tube (#21 UK).

S'ensuit une tournée européenne et américaine triomphale.
